As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in creating meaningful change every day for individuals with diverse needs. Based in Warrnambool, you will have the opportunity to deliver person-centred support that truly makes a difference in the lives of our clients.
About the Role:
This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for individuals and their support networks through tailored Positive Behaviour Support. Key responsibilities include:
* Building strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines by reviewing restrictive practices.
* Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments to identify underlying needs.
* Designing Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change.
* Providing education to carers and support teams to build capacity.
* Collecting data to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.
Key Requirements:

* Endorsement as 'Proficient' against the PBS Capability Framework.
* A relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work).
* Australian working rights.
* Prior experience in community or acute settings.
* Access to a vehicle and current driver's licence.
* A NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check.
