We are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic **Product Owner **to join our Federal Government client!
This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this **6 month contract **with **an additional 24 months of** **extensions **offered.
**Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance **will be considered for this role.
**The role will include**:
- Taking a long term view, identify future system needs and, based on business needs, identify priorities and plan a program of work to address these
- Engage with business areas to develop an understanding of their needs and ensure feedback from users and other evidence informs the Product Backlog and Product Roadmap
- Develop and maintain the Product Backlog and ensure it is prioritised such that it maximises value and is traceable to the MVP
- Support business change activities to encourage adoption of the system
- Manage user testing activities to assess the effectiveness of system or platform changes from the user's perspective
- Keep Business Areas informed, escalating issues and proposing solutions on the basis of positive judgment and an understanding of priorities
**Previous Federal Government experience is desirable for this role.**
