The Role
Woodlupine PS is ideally seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Education Assistant to lead, mentor, coach, and model best practice for other Education Assistants. You will be an important and valued leader, supporting the Manager Corporate Services, Program Coordinators, and Administration team in leading and mentoring the Education Assistant workforce. The successful applicant should operate collaboratively and be able to build and maintain effective team-based relationships. You will ideally be highly professional, organised, and display excellent communication skills, drawing on these attributes when working with staff, the school community, and external stakeholders.
The successful applicant will ideally work closely with the Administration team in supporting timetabling processes, organising relief staff, coordinating professional development opportunities, and providing operational support across the school. It is highly desirable that you contribute to the design and implementation of documented plans and provide solutions and support to teachers and Education Assistants, promoting positive student behaviour and improved educational outcomes in the classroom. Ideally, you would be able to perform tasks requiring discretion in problem solving, decision making, and selecting appropriate methods and processes to achieve outcomes.

Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated considerable knowledge and understanding of the delivery of education programs and/or behaviour management plans; and ability to identify problems and assist teachers and other Education Assistants in the development of strategies and solutions.
* Demonstrated well developed oral communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, mentor, coach, induct and train other Education Assistants and professional teams, including providing advice and evaluating education programs.
* Demonstrated well developed written communication skills, including report writing, and the ability to coordinate, collect and present student data at a whole school community level in a meaningful way.
* Demonstrated well developed organisational skills, including the ability to coordinate staff rosters and relief to assist in the delivery of effective education programs.
