Service manager at the fresh collective qld (brisbane)

Due to an internal promotion and strong growth in functions, the Fresh team in Brisbane has immediate vacancy for experienced Service Manager to join their front of house Service brigade. Work across a diverse variety of functions and events spaces, including offsite corporate events and festivals, where no two days are ever the same.

• Manage all aspects of events across multiple spaces including offsite events
• Deliver exceptional client experiences across a range of functions and events including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners
• Oversee all service-related aspects of the function from set up, through service, and pack down
• Supervise a team of experienced function waiters and bartenders
• Be the client liaison throughout the event
• Work closely with the culinary team, keeping clear communication lines at all times
• Very solid interpersonal skills
• Prior experience as a Head Waiter or Function Supervisor desired
• Ideally coming from a 5-star background
• Excellent attention to detail
• A passion for executing amazing events
• Perform on the job training with floor and bar staff

• 2+ years experience in similar role, coming from well-established and fast-paced venues
• Passion and an extensive knowledge of the food and beverage offering
• Possess an eye for detail and a focus on customer experience
• Have strong communication skills
• Solid wine knowledge, including cocktail making, desirable
• Hold a valid RSA and manual driving licence, preferred
• RMLV licence not required, but desirable
