Department for Health and Wellbeing – Digital Health – Technology and Infrastructure Salary: $76,561 to $80,256 – ASO4 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 12 Months Overview: The Senior Service Desk Officer is responsible to a Service Desk Team Leader, for the delivery of customer-oriented service within an efficient Service Desk to support SA Health business units. The incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of effective and knowledgeable incident and service request management in accordance with policies, procedures and service level agreements. The position may provide some training of staff as directed in the correct use of all standard desktop applications and hardware. Share experience and expertise with more junior staff and colleagues. Job ref: 906696 Criminal History Screening Requirement A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment) Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact) SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace. Special Conditions Initially required to participate in a roster to cover a working day of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. It is anticipated that the hours of working will change when SA Health Digital Health SA introduces a 24x7 Service Desk function. The incumbent will then be required to work weekends on a rostered basis and working hours will be adjusted to cover 7am to 7pm each day.
