Butcher / slicer

Peries IGA are well established in the community and prides themselves on the robust Fresh Food offer.

The store has a friendly experienced team looking for a positive, and experienced Butcher who can assist our departments expand and grow.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to perform consistent quality work to a high standard while unsupervised.

Major duties and responsibilities will include;
Deliver high retail standards within the Meat department
Assist with the waste control practices within the store
Maintain Food Safety & Occupational Health and Safety Standards
Provide excellent customer service, with high level communication and interpersonal skills

Suitable candidates must be motivated and enthusiastic. This is a employment prospect, a Part Time or Casual role for a minimum of 16 hours per week. These hours may increase based on your availability and the business needs heading into the New Year.

Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts over a 7 day period.
