About The Role

Lead the team in ensuring that the reconciliation of intermediary accounts and the collection of debts occur at the desired service level that align with the strategy for Policy Operations. Drive performance against service targets, reviewing and improving team output and developing capability through coaching and training. Drive the design and implementation of solutions to meet the Policy Operations challenges of minimising debt over 90-day credit terms, eliminating debt over 6 months and minimising unreconciled cash whilst ensuring that other areas of the business are not put at risk. Ensure all Credit functions are complicit with the General Insurance Code of Practice and meeting customer expectations. Ensure agreed targets and goals are achieved by providing daily direction and support to credit consultants, ensuring customer service calls are answered in a timely, productive and knowledgeable manner.

About You

Significant experience in an insurance and underwriting or credit operations role gained in a complex, matrixed general insurance or financial services organisation. Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, motivating and developing teams in a cross-functional environment. Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands. Ability to interpret and analyse complex financial information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision-making. A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
