Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the recruitment industry, develop valuable skills, and understand various aspects of our business. This role is designed to provide a meaningful educational experience in line with the Fair Work Commission's guidelines for internships.

The internship has become available due to our ongoing commitment to nurturing new talent and providing opportunities for emerging professionals to gain insight into the recruitment industry. Supporting the "Engage" strategy and the "Transition to Work" program by incorporating these initiatives into our internship program aligns with the government's call to support and develop youth through practical work experiences, offering a meaningful educational experience and potential pathways to full-time employment. The internship program will be taken place at our new Martin Place office for the duration of 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Educational Research and Sourcing: Assist in identifying potential candidates while learning about various sourcing techniques and tools.

Database Management Learning: Gain experience in updating and maintaining candidate databases and records and learning best practices.

Screening Process Training: Participate in initial screening and preliminary interviews under supervision to understand candidate evaluation.

Interview Coordination Education: Learn to schedule and coordinate interviews and meetings, gaining insight into recruitment logistics.

Supportive Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks to understand office management and recruitment documentation.

Market Analysis Skills: Conduct research and analyse market trends to support recruitment strategies, gaining valuable industry insights.

Social Media Strategy Participation: Learn and participate in maintaining social media presence, content creation, and engagement strategies.

Requirements
:

Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organisational Ability: Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Tech-savvy: Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and comfortable using various online tools and platforms.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Initiative: Proactive, willing to learn, and embrace new challenges.
