The role
Raine & Horne Ballina Alstonville is seeking an Experienced Property Manager to join their growing team in Ballina, NSW. As a full-time Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, providing exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants.
Key responsibilities
1. Effectively managing a portfolio of residential properties, including leasing, tenant placement, rent collection and regular property inspections
2. Maintaining strong relationships with landlords and ensuring their properties are well-cared for and tenanted
3. Addressing tenant inquiries and resolving any issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner
4. Coordinating property maintenance and repairs, liaising with tradespeople as required
5. Conducting regular property inspections and providing detailed reports to landlords
6. Ensuring all properties and tenancies comply with relevant legislative requirements
7. Providing expert advice and guidance to landlords on the local property market
What we're looking for
1. Experience in a similar property management role is preferred
2. Strong knowledge of the residential rental market, including tenant screening, lease agreements and property inspections
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with landlords and tenants
4. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
5. Proficient in using property management software and MS Office applications
6. A current and valid driver's licence
7. Relevant property management qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
8. Commercial experience preferred but not essential
