Our Office Administrator is responsible for a wide range of duties. While there is some consistency to this role on a day-to-day basis, it’s safe to say you can expect the unexpected! You’ll be asked to jump in and assist where help is needed, and part of your role will be uncovering opportunities for improvement. This is a hybrid position based out of our Perth, Australia, office.
What You Will Do
* Take ownership of general office management, including purchasing of stationery, office equipment, and kitchen supplies - maintaining cleanliness of front desk area, meeting rooms and kitchen.
* Answer switchboard, screen, and direct calls in a professional manner, taking and relaying messages as necessary.
* Greet visitors entering the organization and direct them to the correct destination.
* Assist with some day-to-day bookkeeping duties (Account Payable/Receivable, Credit Card reconciliations etc.).
* Support with coordinating office events.
* Provide general administrative and clerical support for various departments as needed (including processing new client contracts/agreements, etc.).
* Perform other related tasks as assigned.
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.
Required Qualifications
* Previous administrative experience in a responsible role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
* Highly customer-service oriented with strong aspirations to help others.
* Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented.
* Self-starter who demonstrates initiative and seeks opportunities.
* Ability to foster strong working relationships and confidently collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
* Team player with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
* Post-secondary certificate or diploma in an office administration-related field is an asset.
