We are seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor for a 6‐week project based in the Pilbara Region. POH will be PERTH only and offered on an 8:6 roster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Supervise and coordinate SMP crews, delegating tasks and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
* Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress.
* Oversee the implementation of safe work practices and procedures, conducting toolbox talks and site inspections.
* Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Provide technical guidance and support to the SMP crews, sharing your expertise and mentoring less experienced team members.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting on project progress and performance.
ABOUT YOU
* S26 Supervisor Certificate is a MUST.
* Significant experience as an SMP Supervisor or similar role in the mining, resources or energy industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of structural, mechanical and piping systems, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Demonstrated skills in leading and motivating teams, with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
* Problem‐solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment.
* Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction or a related field.
* First Aid – desirable but not required.
