Job Opportunity:
The Underground Grader Operator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of our operations, efficiently executing grader tasks for underground mine development and production, as well as conducting equipment inspections.
Key responsibilities include:
* Initiating pre-starts on equipment prior to operation
* Participating in equipment handovers with cross-shift operators and the Underground Shift Supervisor
* Safely operating the underground grader to achieve optimal results
* Providing assistance to other mining operators as needed
* Coaching new and inexperienced operators to enhance their skills
* Maintaining roads and drains to meet high standards
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in operating a grader
* Western Australian DGSC certification is highly desirable
* Fundamental knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in underground equipment
* A current West Australian Shot-firing license would be advantageous
* A valid UNDERGROUND METALLIFEROUS MINING CERTIFICATE II, III OR IV would be beneficial
