As Event Producer, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of Woofys events in Sydney and oversee our Australian Event Management team from a creative execution standpoint. You'll be the driving force behind the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of activations, brand experiences, and large-scale events - ensuring every detail aligns with our operational standards and creative vision across the group. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you'll shape the event experience from concept to completion, manage stakeholders, suppliers and team members, and set the benchmark for innovation, quality, and impact across all our productions.
This position requires strong leadership, production expertise, and a strong understanding of event logistics and design. You love getting the best out of people, working collaboratively to ensure the timely and smooth delivery of all Woofys activations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leadership and ownership of the implementation of creative direction and activation output across the board: provide direction and ensure consistency of asset styling in line with Woofys global look and feel. Work with the Creative department and Account Services team to ensure alignment with client / brand objectives.
* Lead event production in Sydney: from planning, budgeting, supplier ordering / negotiations, team leadership, through to onsite delivery and post-event evaluation. You are the events lead and responsible for the delivery of first class activations.
* Leadership of the on the ground team including warehouse assistants, bump in crew and casual event crew, including weekly team briefings and management of tasks.
* Leading the hands on delivery and styling of activations, including resourcing to facilitate event preparation (ordering, packing, food preparation, inventory management) and management of event logistics.
* Set and uphold the threshold for the expected quality of production and project management and instill this across the team, taking ultimate responsibility for the businesses creative execution.
* Identify, task and empower team members to be accountable for project wide quality control, installing check points, sign off and procedural norms, cascading this down through the ranks. Demonstrate inspiring role model behaviour, supporting, empowering and guiding the wider team in the pursuit of excellence.
* Own and manage local supplier relationships, enabling us to improve, evolve and increase our volume output across multiple channels / project types (fabrication, printing, catering, etc).
* Research, sourcing and pricing of bespoke event items and elements (from custom F&B, fabrication, merch, and more).
* Procurement and maintenance of Woofys equipment – ensuring exceptional condition of all Woofys items at all times including assets, equipment, props and all event items. Ensure maintenance items (such as stocktake, asset/prop maintenance) are done to schedule.
* Management of staff training for all event personnel, including any full time and/ or contract team members.
* Create and manage detailed event timelines, run sheets and logistics plans. Manage onsite operations, troubleshooting issues in real time.
* Ensure compliance with permits, licences, local regulations, WHS and risk assessments.
* Contribute to post-event reporting, debriefs, measurement of KPIs (attendance, satisfaction, ROI).
* Maintain and nurture relationships with wider department heads and teams to drive excellence and efficiencies through the business and/or facilitate swift resolution to challenges that may arise.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Extensive Event Expertise: Minimum 5 years leading a diverse range of events and brand activations, consistently delivering projects that exceed client and business expectations.
* Production Excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous live events across varied locations, with demonstrated success in delivering seamless execution under pressure.
* Creative Leadership: Strong creative sensibility with deep expertise in experiential storytelling, capable of translating brand strategy into memorable, immersive experiences.
* Operational Rigor: Highly organised and process-driven, with meticulous attention to detail across planning, execution, and post-event reporting.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and maintaining margins at or above business targets.
* Project Management Proficiency: Advanced user of project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Google Workspace) to track timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and reporting.
* Team Leadership & Development: Skilled at inspiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Strategic & Creative Problem-Solving: Proactive thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges, troubleshoot effectively, and generate innovative solutions that align with business and client objectives.
* Commitment to Safety: Strong knowledge of safe work procedures, consistently embedding compliance, risk management, and WHS standards into all operational practices.
