The role serves to champion and ensure utilisation of best QE technologies and practices and set processes and expectations with Product Owners and Engineers that prioritise quality and automation.

This role develops and executes test cases and identifies defects to ensure applications are reliable and meet solution requirements.

Responsibilities include:

* Developing detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional and detailed design documents.
* Executing tests to validate functionality, including regression testing to ensure new changes or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases and test results.
* Identifying, documenting and reporting defects found during testing.
* Managing defects through Test Management Tool (Azure DevOps),and proactively drive defects and blockers to resolution.
* Conducting tool analysis, making recommendations and selections.
* Utilising efficient and effective processes and standards to continuously improve quality.
* Participating in Code Reviews and Quality Gate definitions
* Coordinating and collaborating with client teams for completion of integration and user acceptance testing.
* Identify and analyze suitable opportunities for test automation
* Design and implement automation frameworks and approaches
* Support Associates

Additional Requirements:

Security Clearance Requirement : Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance.

This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.

On-call and Shift Expectations: This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.

Other Items:

* Must not have been terminated from a Gov agency or received poor performance feedback.
* Must have lived in Australia for the majority of the past 5 years.
* Must be up to date with tax requirements.

Must be committed to working on site in the client office 4 days a week.
