Job Overview
The Commissioning Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely and efficient commissioning execution, aligning with project objectives.
This includes on-site coordination of subcontractors'/consultants' commissioning activities across various domains, guaranteeing seamless integration and alignment with project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
* Engage actively with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to synchronize commissioning requirements with project deliverables, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
* Coordinate on-site commissioning activities, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring successful project outcomes.
* Oversee commissioning stages, including quality assurance, cold and hot commissioning, and grid testing, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
* Document comprehensive records of commissioning processes, test results, and system performance, preparing detailed reports for stakeholders.
* Enforce strict LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) and isolation procedures during commissioning, upholding stringent safety standards.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
* Align commissioning schedules with overall project timelines and objectives, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
* Review RFPs (requests for proposals) and contract documents to understand and meet commissioning requirements, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
* Monitor system performance post-commissioning, identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting improvements.
* Develop and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's Degree/Advanced Diploma in Engineering or Electrical Trade Qualifications with advanced technical training/experience.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in renewable energy project commissioning, demonstrating proven expertise and knowledge.
* Proven organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols in the renewable energy sector, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
* Proficiency in common project management software, such as MS Suite, MS Project, and/or P6, as well as commissioning software like PVSyst, PowerFactory, ETAP, and/or PSCAD.
* Ability to interpret 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate comprehension and application.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with capacity to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
