* Lead weekly production meetings, resolve escalated operational issues, and drive project outcomes.
* Provide leadership to cross-functional teams including Estimators, Project Managers, and Boilermakers.
* Oversee scheduling and resource allocation across the workshop and on-site teams to ensure project milestones are met.
* Maintain clear oversight of project progress, proactively identifying risks, and implementing practical solutions to keep delivery on track.
* Ensure streamlined coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders—including builders, contractors, and site managers.
* Leadership of day-to-day operations, in order to free up the CEO to focus on continued growth.
About You:
* Proven experience in structural steel or related heavy fabrication sectors.
* Proven experience running concurrent complex and high value projects ($1M–$5M).
* Background in project delivery, construction management, or operations.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience reviewing contracts, budgets, and negotiating pricing, to ensure profitability.
* A natural leader with the ability to influence and drive accountability across multiple departments.
* Able to build effective relationships with Estimators, Project Managers, trades and clients.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role of a thriving structural steel business—with the full support of a dynamic CEO and a strong leadership team.
