Repair Loop Technicians play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Reverse Vending Machine hardware. They inspect, test and repair components such as printers, power supplies, motors, LCD and touch screens.
The job involves various responsibilities including:
* Inspecting, testing and recording parts received for repair
* Implementing repair procedures and recording success/failure rates
* Analysing and reporting on data gathered from returned parts
* Maintaining a clean, well-organised and ESD controlled workplace
* Delivering training to local technicians on correct handling, fault finding and possible field repair options
* Suggesting and implementing performance improving actions across our RVM portfolio
* Testing of repair parts according to internal quality standards
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
* Proven experience in electronics repair
* Previous hands-on or field experience
* Certificate III level qualification in an electronics trade or higher education qualification directly related to the work carried out
* Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate preferred
* A genuine interest in emerging technology and environmentalism
* Strong ability to communicate clearly
* Prioritised approach to safety
