Overview
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, ****.
Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is located in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25 km south of Perth.
The school hosts Year 7–9 cohorts now and will extend to Year 10 in ****, reaching Year 12 by ****.
Responsibilities
Maintain school grounds, including turf areas, garden beds, shrubs, and trees, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and safe.
Support the development of healthy growing environments across all soft landscaping such as lawns and garden areas.
Uphold hard landscaping features, including paved areas, pathways, and courts.
Assist the Senior Gardener/Handyperson with minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as irrigation systems, plumbing, carpentry, and event setup.
Qualifications / Eligibility
Valid Working With Children Check.
Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
