Don't have your truck licence? No problem, we are also looking for trainees who have a current forklift licence and a manual drivers licence.
We want you to stay for the long haul…and as such will provide on-the-job training and cover the upfront cost of your Truck Licence post probation, helping you progress into a qualified operator role within our business.
What You’ll Do
* Set up and dismantle temporary fencing on client sites
* Load and unload hire equipment onto trucks and trailers
* Carry out sanitation services, including cleaning and waste removal from portable toilets (training provided)
* Restock and clean portable toilets, showers, and buildings
* Keep trucks, vehicles, and yard areas clean and organised
* Carry out basic maintenance and repairs on hire equipment
* Complete simple digital paperwork using tablets (training provided)
* Support the team with general yard and depot duties
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
* physically fit and enjoys practical, hands-on work
* eager to learn and gain new skills
* reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* able to work well in a small team or independently
* Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions
* a current MR driver's licence holder (or a manual C Class driver’s licence and has an interest in obtaining their Truck Licence - training and costs covered by Norquip)
* is willing to work weekends and overtime during busy periods
Experience in labouring, construction, or equipment handling is an advantage but not essential.
