Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for constructing the structural framework of residential and/or commercial builds, including walls, floors, and roofs. You’ll work from plans to measure, cut, and assemble materials while making sure all work is accurate, level, and up to code. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality work, works well in a team, and follows safety practices on site.
Role Description
What you’ll be doing
* Assist with building timber wall frames and stick roofs
* Learn how to read and understand plans and measurements
* Help set out and assemble frames on-site
* Work with trusses, rafters, and structural components
* Use hand and power tools under supervision
* Carry materials and keep the site clean and organised
* Follow safety procedures at all times
* Support qualified carpenters with daily tasks
