Property Caretaker Couple (Husband & Wife Team)
We're seeking a reliable, hands-on couple to live on and care for our 85-acre family property in Cowalla. Ideal for those who love the outdoors, enjoy rural living, and take pride in maintaining a property to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Grounds & Gardens: Mow lawns, maintain gardens and firebreaks, manage reticulation, and assist with starting a large vegetable and maintaining an orchid garden.
* Property Maintenance: General repairs, fence upkeep, driveway grading, firewood preparation, and basic handyman tasks.
* Animal Care: Daily care for chickens and support setup for future livestock (sheep, pigs, cattle).
* Equipment: Operate and maintain mowers, motorbikes, tools, and small machinery.
Ideal Experience & Qualities
* Previous caretaking, farm, or landscaping experience
* Physically fit and capable with tools and machinery
* Practical, proactive, and self-motivated
* Comfortable around animals and with basic maintenance tasks
* Trustworthy and respectful of privacy
