About the Role
Mott MacDonald are currently seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our Buildings team. In addition to leading complex projects and strengthening our market presence, the successful Structures candidate will lead and guide the structures team, collaborating with the State Market Lead to oversee commercial performance and resource management for the team.
Your Responsibilities
* Leading significant projects and supporting successful project bids to strengthen our structural presence in South Australia.
* Promoting a culture of safety by engaging in leadership activities, such as safety walks and incident reporting.
* Assisting the Market Lead with pragmatic people management and encouraging collaboration.
* Managing resource planning and succession.
* Ensuring compliance with systems, procedures, and required training.
About You
* Chartered Engineer with a degree in structural engineering or a related field.
* Possess a high level of design creativity with the ability to develop technically robust structural concepts whilst maintaining a strong focus on the design intent.
* Commercially aware with the ability to successfully lead structural and multidisciplinary complex projects through all phases whilst managing and developing strong client relationships.
* Desire to work within a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation and excellence, contributing to workplace culture.
