About the role
You will manage placements across programmes, support students and stakeholders, and build strong partnerships with clinical and community organisations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐level administrative and coordination support to ensure successful Allied Health student placements and excellent outcomes for students and partners.
* Coordinate, oversee, and support clinical placements in collaboration with Academic Leads, Clinical Educators, universities, and healthcare partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including placement providers, professional bodies, and partner organisations.
* Manage all placement logistics end‐to‐end, including planning, agreements, orientations, events, travel, accommodation, and financial tracking.
* Provide responsive, high‐quality customer service and non‐clinical pastoral support to students throughout the placement lifecycle.
* Maintain accurate records and reporting using enterprise systems, contributing to data analysis, submissions, compliance, and placement reviews.
* Support Clinical Educators and academic staff with systems, processes, and placement requirements aligned to curriculum and accreditation standards.
* Apply sound judgment to manage risk, resolve issues, interpret policy, and continuously improve placement processes and systems.
Qualifications, skills & experience
* Relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience in administration, clinical placements, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Extensive experience and specialist expertise in clinical practicum coordination in a tertiary institution highly desirable.
* High‐level interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong and effective collaborative professional relationships.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a proven capacity to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
* Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, video‐conferencing tools, and enterprise systems, with advanced technical literacy.
