About the Role
As a Supply Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels of critical spares and consumables are maintained to minimize downtime in mining and processing operations. This involves proactively managing inventory, collaborating with colleagues to identify discrepancies, and receiving, unloading, unpacking, and checking quantities against purchase orders.
You will also be required to operate a range of forklifts from 3T to 18T, unload freight trucks, perform general yard duties, and store inventory received within the warehouse in a manner that allows easy location using the SAP system.
In addition, you will ensure that all direct charge receivables are delivered to the correct location nominated on the purchase order by the required date.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage stock levels of critical spares and consumables to minimize downtime
* Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve discrepancies
* Receive, unload, unpack, and check quantities against purchase orders
* Operate a range of forklifts from 3T to 18T
* Unload freight trucks and perform general yard duties
* Store inventory received within the warehouse in a manner that allows easy location using the SAP system
* Ensure delivery of direct charge receivables to the correct location by the required date
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Valid HR Drivers' Licence
* Forklift Licence
* Current High-Risk licence (desirable)
* Apply First Aid certification (desirable)
* Demonstrated experience in the Mining Industry or large industrial warehouse environment
* Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
* Experience using SAP (highly regarded)
* Team-focused and effective communication skills
* Demonstrated experience in safety culture and workplace standards
