Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced couple to manage the daily operations of a motel in regional NSW. Both individuals will work together to ensure smooth business operations, maintain high service standards, and deliver a positive guest experience. This is a hands‐on role requiring strong organisational skills, customer service ability, and operational management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‐to‐day motel operations including front desk, reservations, and housekeeping coordination.
* Handle guest check‐in and check‐out processes efficiently and professionally.
* Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and overall property condition.
* Monitor room availability and manage bookings through online and offline systems.
* Oversee maintenance requirements and coordinate repairs when necessary.
* Manage financial tasks including basic accounting, cash handling, and expense tracking.
* Supervise and support staff where applicable, including training and rostering.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulatory requirements.
Skills and Requirements
* Minimum 1+ years of experience in motel, hotel, or hospitality management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking systems preferred.
* Strong problem‐solving and multitasking abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
* Valid work rights in Australia.
