Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing vertical access equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing hoists, lifts, rack & pinion systems primarily across London, with occasional UK travel.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, including VFCs and PLCs.
* Supporting installation, inspection, and commissioning of equipment.
* Collaborating with service, installation, commissioning, and support teams.
* Completing accurate and timely service documentation.
* Adhering to safety policies and procedures.
* Representing the company professionally on-site and in vehicle presentation.
* Participating in emergency out-of-hours support and flexible travel/work hours.
Requirements:
* Mechanical or electrical engineering background with strong fault-finding skills.
* Relevant qualifications: NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, traction, or lift engineering.
* Previous experience as a Field Engineer or similar role.
* Full UK driving licence.

Key Details:
* Monday–Friday 08:00–16:00 + Door-to-Door / Overtime @ 1.5x/2x.
* 90% of work in London, with occasional UK travel only.
