JL Colour Glass Pty Ltd are family run business, specialising in decorative glass fabrication and installation. Ever since the commencement of our trade in 2003, we have been proudly servicing our residential and commercial customers throughout Sydney area. Filed work is required, driving to and from job sites. Australian driver's license would be ideal and ability to lift heavy objects. We are seeking an experienced Glazier to fill in the current vacancy in our team.

**Working hour per week**: 40 hours
Main tasks include:
- Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine size, shape, color, type, or thickness of glass, location of framing, installation procedures, or staging or scaffolding materials required.
- Select the type or colour of glass or mirror according to specifications.
- Measuring and marking lines or patterns on glass before cutting.
- Prepare glass for cutting by resting it on rack edges or against cutting tables and brushing thin layer of oil along cutting lines or dipping cutting tools in oil.
- Cutting glass to size and specifications in the workshop and on the job site.
- Grind or polish glass, smoothing edges when necessary.
- Cut, assemble, fit, or attach metal-framed glass enclosures for showers, bathtubs, display cases, skylights, solariums, or other structures.
- Protect structures or surfaces near work areas to avoid damage, using glass pliers or other cutting tools
- Fabricate or install wooden or metal sashes or moldings for glass installation.
- Examine, cut and remove broken glass prior to install replacement glass.
- Set glass doors into frames and bolt metal hinges, handles, locks, or other hardware to attach doors to frames and walls.
- Measure, cut, fit, and press anti-glare adhesive film to glass or spray glass with tinting solution
- Load and arrange glass or mirrors onto delivery trucks using suction cups or cranes to lift the glass.
- Driving trucks to job sites and unloading glass and materials.
- Operating hoists or cranes with suction cups to lift heavy glass units.
- Cleaning the job area once glass has been installed and the client is satisfied.
**The successful Glazier will require**:
- At least 3 years' relevant experience.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge of glazing methods and techniques.
- Ability to work as part of team and provide appropriate on-the-job training.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
