Job Description
As a Water Quality Technical Advisor, you will drive the regional delivery of the Drinking Water Quality Management Framework to ensure safe and reliable drinking water supply to customers in Western Australia.
This role is based in Karratha and offers an adventurous work-life balance. You will oversee critical roles in safeguarding drinking water quality, design and implement water quality monitoring programs, conduct investigations and audits, and drive compliance in water resource licensing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Regional Delivery: Apply a Catchment-to-Point-of-Supply approach to deliver the Drinking Water Quality Management Framework across the region.
* Design Monitoring Programs: Implement water quality monitoring programs to ensure safe and compliant drinking water for customers.
* Conduct Investigations: Conduct and support site inspections, catchment strategy reviews, water safety plan development, and internal/external process assessments.
* Drive Compliance: Oversee the deployment of the Water Resource Management Operations Strategy (WRMOS) across the region to drive compliance in water resource licensing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require strong technical skills and knowledge of water quality management principles, regulations, and frameworks.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead regional delivery teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
