Job Description
The Credit Officer position is responsible for coordinating end-to-end credit for a ledger of circa. 800-1000 accounts. On a day-to-day basis, this will include:
* Overseeing high-volume credit and collections for assigned ledgers.
* Risk management and negotiation of credit limits and payment terms.
* Management of debtor reporting monthly and yearly.
* Dispute resolution.
* Collaboration with internal sales teams regarding customer accounts.
Key responsibilities involve ensuring effective risk management processes are in place and that all aspects of the credit cycle are handled efficiently. This includes negotiating credit limits, managing debtors, and resolving disputes effectively.
