About the role We are seeking a qualified and reliable Security Officer to support operations within an aviation-related construction environment. The successful candidate must meet all compliance obligations and be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). Duties consist of but are not limited to Ensure all doors within the service area are secured unless under direct supervision Secure all locks and hoarding systems to prevent unauthorised access Conduct end-of-shift inspections, including: Checking for unattended tools and ensuring they are securely stored Confirming the site is fully secured and all door locking mechanisms are operational Key Requirements Full Australian work rights Valid South Australian Security Licence Proficient use in UHF radio communications Valid ASIC (or willing to obtain) Valid driver’s licence Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain) Valid General Construction Card (White Card) (or willing to obtain) Skills & Attributes Excellent communication and reporting skills Strong attention to detail Ability to follow structured procedures Physically fit and able to conduct patrols Reliable, professional, and safety-focused Scholarships If you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or license, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
