Overview The ICT Security Specialist will work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for achievement of outcomes. Exercising initiative and judgement in applying policy, practices and procedures. Providing detailed security advice and documentation to support complex work.
Duties
Author and Maintain Information and Communications Technology (ICT) security related artefacts (e.g. System Overview Document, System Security Plan, System Security Plan Annex, Business Impact Level, Security Risk Management Plan, Standard Operating Procedures, Security Classification & Categorisation Guide, Plan of Action and Milestones and other documents required in the Security Documentation Pack);
Build and maintain relationships with project and product managers to support cyber security and governance risk and compliance activities for the client, including the development and review of procedural documentation;
Assist and provide cyber security guidance to key stakeholders throughout the Assessment & Authorisation (A&A;) lifecycle (i.e. System Owner, System Manager, Security Assessor and Product Managers);
Prepare documentation and reports as required by the Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation (CSAA) framework and capability review boards;
Essential Criteria
Experience and/or industry certification in a technology, cyber security, governance, risk, or compliance related field (i.e. CISSP, CISM, ISO27001, CRISC).
Knowledge of security management, as defined by the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and
Experience in the application of the Australian Cyber Security Centres (ACSC) Information Security Manual (ISM).
The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen with an active Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security Clearance.
