Work Details
* Start Time: 6am
* Finish Time: 2:06pm
* 5 day weeks, Mon - Fri
* Location: Toowong
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, manufacture, and maintenance of Brisbane City Council's fleet of coaches and buses. Key responsibilities include:
* Structural & Body Maintenance
* Painting and General Refurbishment
* Collaborating with Trade Assistants and Apprentices
* Modifying Heavy Vehicles and Buses
* Fabrication and Welding Tasks
* Assembly According to Technical Specifications
* Maintaining a Safe Working Area at All Times
Key Requirements:
* Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations OR Certificate III in Automotive (Vehicle Body - Building).
* Proven experience in bus or coach bodybuilding.
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
* Strong commitment to teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines.
