Master Approvals Coordinator
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Approvals Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the complete approvals lifecycle, from concept to build-ready status. Your technical expertise and stakeholder coordination skills will ensure thousands of construction projects move smoothly through our process.
About You:
You're someone who enjoys learning complex processes and takes pride in getting details right. With experience dealing with local councils, shires, and a strong understanding of Residential Design & Building Codes of Australia, you'll be well-equipped to handle the challenges of this role. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems quickly make you an ideal candidate.
Your Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Liaising with councils, developers, and private certifiers regarding site and build requirements
• Undertaking compliance assessments prior to lodgement of planning and building applications
• Managing specialised processes including BAL assessments, arborist and acoustic reports
• Submitting and tracking building permit applications, developer approvals, and planning applications
• Updating comprehensive tracking reports and maintaining accurate file management across multiple systems
• Preparing, submitting, and tracking other council applications as required, including verge, crossover, landscaping, construction management, and traffic management
• Collaborating with Sales, Drafting, Design, Estimating, Client Liaison, and Construction teams throughout the customer journey
