We are seeking enthusiastic and suitably experienced people to fill the roles of Senior Technology Specialist within the ICT Applications Directorate.
This is a recruitment pool for Permanent and Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
We currently have 5 Permanent Full-Time positions available for immediate appointment, and a number of additional Full-Time contract positions available, with the potential for subsequent extension or permanent placement. These opportunities are available within the following areas:
1. The Data Platforms team: you will utilise your extensive data platform maintenance expertise to ensure the effective deliver of optimised data warehousing services, and continuously develop and enhance data ingestions to ensure the ongoing availability of the Health data platform. The current technology stack includes Snowflake, Microsoft, Oracle and Matillion solutions.
2. Clinical Specialist Systems team: you will utilise your extensive technical application support expertise, including server and database management, to support critical applications across WA health.
3. Platforms Interoperability team: you will utilise your technical expertise, within both Windows and Unix environments, and your extensive technical understanding of system administration and complex enterprise systems integration to support critical systems interoperability.
As the Senior Technology Specialist you will be responsible for:
4. Ensure effective and efficient delivery of ICT application and platform solutions including development, release, maintenance, support and disaster recovery services.
5. Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and deliver enhanced products and services.
6. Providing technical customer support and identifying opportunities for solutions development to drive improvements in customer satisfaction.
7. Building and maintaining customer-focused relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role will include some on-call and out of hours duties to ensure that the ICT application solution delivery services meet our agreed performance levels.
