About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to make a difference in the lives of our residents. The role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services, founded on resident-centred holistic care. In your day-to-day role, you will assess physical and psycho-social functioning, identify goals, needs, and preferences, and ensure all parties are informed of resident-led, goal-directed care planning.
As a Physical Therapist, no two days will look the same. You will benefit from a diverse caseload, applying a broad range of core skills, including falls prevention, musculoskeletal assessment, evidence-based pain management, mobility, exercise prescription, functional retraining, equipment provision, promotion of health and education, continence, bowel, and pelvic health, positioning, manual tasks, transfers, oedema management, advocacy, training, and quality monitoring practices.
