Job Title: Part-time Sales Assistant
We are seeking a part-time Sales Assistant to join our team at the Wangaratta store. This role involves working across a rotating roster in our 6-day trading store (Monday - Saturday).
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional service, advice, and product solutions to customers.
* Tint paint products according to customer requirements.
* Manage inventory, including receiving goods and stocktaking.
* Take orders in-store and via phone.
* Replenish stock, including 15L paint drums.
* Develop strong relationships with repeat customers and colleagues.
* Stay informed about the latest colour forecasts and product releases.
* Assist with visual displays, store presentation, and housekeeping.
About You:
* Hold a valid driver's license for local deliveries.
* Possess excellent communication skills.
* Have a genuine desire to deliver outstanding service.
* Experience in customer service roles.
* Experience with stock handling and merchandising.
* Capable of manual tasks, including lifting 15L cans of paint.
* Familiar with Point of Sale (POS) systems or tech-savvy.
* Numeracy skills to handle POS transactions and understand tint percentages/ratios.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
