Project Manager Role
This is a 12-month full-time opportunity to contribute to projects within federal government agencies. As an experienced project officer, you will assist in project management, coordination activities, monitoring, and reviewing program and project activities against plans.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage projects by coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and reviewing outcomes.
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resources according to agency frameworks.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance in specific areas of project work, including research analysis and report preparation.
* Draft written materials such as business cases, executive briefs, and corporate documentation for review.
* Monitor project risks, issues, and benefits while ensuring quality management to meet client needs.
Key Requirements
* Strong understanding of agile project management methodology to plan, monitor, and deliver work packages.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using initiative to manage competing priorities.
* Experience initiating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely through reports, presentations, and written briefs.
* Well-developed Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint).
