What You’ll Do
On the back of our continued national growth and strategic focus on infrastructure, we are seeking a visionary and hands-on Rail Leader to join our senior leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our rail business across Australia, driving strategic positioning and project delivery. Based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our national footprint and delivering high-impact outcomes for our clients.
As a key leader, you will engage directly with major rail entities and government clients, oversee the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, and foster a high-performance culture across our teams. You will bring deep industry knowledge, strong relationships, and a passion for excellence to help us deliver projects that make a difference.
* Strategic Positioning: Lead engagement with key rail clients nationally, including Sydney Trains, Sydney Metro, TfNSW, MTM, Yarra Trams, ARTC, QR, AURIZON and DTMR.
* Project Leadership: Provide directorship and oversight on major infrastructure projects, ensuring quality outcomes and an efficient and profitable delivery.
* Business Growth: Leverage your network to attract top talent and grow our rail capability across jurisdictions/RIMs.
* Client Engagement: Build and strengthen relationships with clients and contractors, ensuring alignment and trust.
* Continuous Improvement: Champion best practice in project delivery, driving innovation and efficiency across our portfolio and demonstrating a focus on value to client.
* Mentorship: Coach and develop project teams, sharing your expertise to uplift capability and performance.
* Industry Presence: Represent the business at industry events, expanding our visibility and influence.
What You Bring
With 20 + years’ experience you may have come from a design consulting background or led design efforts for a contractor on major rail or infrastructure projects
* Rail Expertise: Deep understanding of the Australian rail market across both public and private sectors.
* Leadership Impact: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a culture of excellence.
* Delivery Focus: Skilled in balancing strategic positioning with hands-on project delivery.
* Commercial Acumen: Track record of delivering major infrastructure projects profitably and sustainably.
* Client Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the rail sector.
