Due to internal movement, this rare opportunity for a Head of Dropship has become available to lead the team to continued evolution in the industry.
**About the role**:
As the Head of Dropship, you will lead and be accountable for the strategy and direction, implementation, ongoing operations and business and financial performance of all aspects of my clients dropship programme.
This role has been instrumental in our success and as such you will bring your extensive commercial and retail business experience to run and grow this highly strategic pillar of the organisations growth strategy.
You will manage a dropship product selection and curation team who along with yourself will meet and partner with new and existing suppliers to continue to build a substantial dropship product assortment to support the ongoing growth of the programme. Ensuring KPIs in regard to supplier prospecting, supplier onboarding and product publishing are met will be key in reaching performance targets for the programme.
You will partner with the key stakeholders to further develop and enhance the omni-channel customer proposition, proposing and launching new growth initiatives to continue to improve customer experience. You will continue to develop the strategy and find unique opportunities to leverage the brand and market position to attract exclusive and differentiated suppliers and products that will ensure the short and long term budgeted financial targets are achieved.
You will work closely with digital operatons and retail customer service team to ensure that the operational execution of the programme is exceptional and to agreed service levels. The digital operations team will be responsible for day to day operational performance of supplier fulfilment and carrier activity, whilst customer service will manage customer contacts related to the dropship programme. Execution must be to the highest standard and you will hold these teams to account to ensure operational excellence.
Importantly you will champion and sponsor the programme both internally and externally, leading programme and change management activity with your exceptional influencing and communication skills across all levels of the business and executive teams. You will be approachable, highly visible, pragmatic and vocal in ensuring existing product, planning, retail and support teams understand the purpose of the programme and how it contributes to my clients future success. Detailed reporting, analytics and insight into the direction, trends, performance and opportunities of the programme will be a key part of ensuring adoption and support across the business.
