Learning Programs Producer
Amplify First Nations voices, culture, history and knowledge through transformative learning experiences.
As a Learning Programs Producer, you will develop and deliver curriculum-based programs, activities, engagement strategies and audiences across formal and informal learning groups to ensure the delivery of quality learning programs for students in stages 1-6. This includes engaging student groups with our past at historic sites as well as online.
Museums of History NSW brings together museums, historic houses and associated collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast collection of more than 13 million items held by the former NSW State Archives. This includes one of the world's most complete and important collections documenting colonisation.
The role requires a strong understanding of First Nations cultures, histories and perspectives, as well as experience in developing and delivering education programs that are respectful and inclusive.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and delivering curriculum-based programs that meet the needs of students in stages 1-6
* Engaging student groups with our past at historic sites and online
* Collaborating with educators and other stakeholders to develop and deliver effective learning programs
* Providing expert advice on First Nations cultures, histories and perspectives
