Web Presence Specialist
The Department of Education is seeking a skilled web presence specialist to enhance the digital presence of Queensland State Schools. As part of our Digital Presence team, you will work closely with schools to achieve their web content goals and reach their target audience.
This role involves providing support and advice on web publishing principles and processes, ensuring that web content complies with accessibility standards, and developing support materials for schools to publish high-quality content.
About the Role:
* Provide expert guidance on creating engaging online experiences for students, parents, and staff.
* Liaise with school administrators to ensure effective communication channels are in place.
* Develop strategic plans for improving website usability and accessibility across all state schools.
You will be responsible for building positive relationships with internal clients including departmental stakeholders, education experts, teachers' union representatives. You'll provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
