We are seeking an experienced Vineyard Manager to join our viticulture team.
Job Description
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in viticulture or equivalent proven industry experience and will have a high level understanding of the relationship between grape and wine quality. The viticulture program is sensitive to the unique needs of Margaret River's pristine environment and ancient soils.
Farmed holistically, we've developed a specialised system for nourishing soil health, vine longevity and natural biodiversity.
This draws upon over 50 years' work, balancing ancient farming methods with modern viticulture.
Key Responsibilities
* To manage our specialty vineyards using best practices and holistic methods
* To develop and implement strategies to improve soil health and vine longevity
* To ensure the success of our wine production by managing crop yield and quality
Required Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in viticulture or equivalent proven industry experience
High level understanding of the relationship between grape and wine quality
