Continued business growth has created an opportunity for a motivated **Press Brake Machine Operator** with experience in manufacturing wishing to establish a career with the Laser World team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication machinery, such as press brakes and laser cutting machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Monitor machine performance, ensuring efficient operation and making adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality, identifying any defects and making necessary adjustments
- De-tag and De-bur finished product as required
- Operate a forklift to load / unload store materials
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
**This is a permeant full time opportunity working Afternoon Shift (3:00pm - 11:06pm) Monday to Friday. Saturday morning overtime is also available (**optional**).**
**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience in CNC Press Brake operation and programming
- Forklift License and experience on a forklift, advantageous
- Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings
- Basic computer literacy
- Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A willingness to participate in training - on the job training will be provided to ensure your success!
