Social Care Specialist - Community Support Role
This rewarding community-based position involves providing support to customers who are located on the southside of Brisbane. The role is focused on actively supporting the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family.
The key responsibilities of this role include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying customers on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of community services and a passion for working with elderly individuals. You should also have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and have a valid Driver's Licence.

About This Opportunity
This is a permanent part-time role that involves working up to 50 hours per fortnight. The role requires flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You will need to have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured.
