Afford is a leading Australian not for profit disability service provider supporting people to live independently, access employment and connect with their communities. A registered NDIS provider and ACNC registered charity, Afford operates across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. The organisation delivers a range of services including accommodation, community and lifestyle supports, in home support, employment services and NDIS support coordination. Afford currently supports more than 2,100 clients and employs approximately 939 staff across its national footprint.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and leading senior operational leaders, the Chief Operating Officer will oversee service delivery across Afford's core operational portfolios and ensure high quality, consumer focused outcomes. The role is responsible for strengthening operational performance, driving service quality and supporting the organisation's growth and strategic priorities.
* Lead national service delivery across accommodation, community and employment services.
* Drive operational performance, risk, quality and compliance frameworks.
* Partner with executive leaders to deliver strategic growth and organisational capability.
* Strengthen consumer experience, engagement and continuous improvement.
About you
* Senior executive experience leading complex human services operations
* Strong knowledge of the disability sector and NDIS regulatory environment
* Demonstrated success leading multiple service streams and large teams
* Ability to balance commercial outcomes with purpose driven service delivery
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with regulators, partners and communities
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and commitment to for purpose leadership
