37.5 hours per week.Main duties of the jobDirect Patient Care: Provides specialized nursing care to breast cancer patients, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout the cancer pathway.Support and Education: Offers emotional support, education, and information to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and side effect management.Advocacy: Acts as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met and they have access to appropriate resources.Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Works closely with the breast care team, including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and seamless care.Consultant Clinics: Support consultant led clinics, providing follow-up care, managing symptoms, and addressing patient concerns.Service Development: Participates in service development initiatives to improve breast cancer care and patient outcomes.Education and Training: Provides education and support to other healthcare professionals, including nurses and students.Research and Audit: May participate in research and audit activities to advance knowledge and improve practice.About usNuffield Health Brighton Hospital.
