We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by:

• Providing Personal Care Assistance: Assisting clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
• Supporting Community Participation: Helping clients engage in social and recreational activities, access appointments, and navigate their communities.
• Implementing Individualised Support Plans: Collaborating with clients and their families to develop and follow tailored plans that promote independence and achieve personal goals.
• Household Support: Light domestic duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Emotional Support and Companionship: Building positive relationships with clients and providing encouragement and a listening ear.

• Essential:
  • Current and valid driver's licence with a clean record and demonstrably good driving skills.
  • Current car licence insurance policy.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent, or willingness to obtain.
  • Clearances: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check.
• Desirable:
  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field.

• Pay: $35.00 – $60.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
