Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
This role will suit someone who is looking to develop their career and gain experience in the core HR processes across the employee lifecycle. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be working within a highly integrated and adaptive team that values connectedness, integrity and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will assist with recruitment activities including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, managing pre-employment processes. They will also support the coordination of our traineeship, graduate and professional development programs.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the onboarding processes for new employees and internal movements. You will provide guidance on HR policies and supporting employee relations administration including warning letters and policy queries.
Key skills required for this position include a proactive, collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in people and HR best practices. Confidence in handling sensitive information with discretion is also essential. A positive and open-minded attitude, with the willingness to learn and grow in a busy and fast-paced environment is required.
A working knowledge of HRIS Systems and proficiency in MS Office programs is advantageous. Learning, training and development support is provided by the company, as well as employee recognition programs and wellness and benefits programs.
