About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated health professional to join our team in a Health Specialist role. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in injury prevention, injury management, fitness for work, rehabilitation and return to work processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement suitable duties plans and associated documents
* C Coordinate case management with workers' compensation providers, medical and allied health professionals
* Support regulatory health surveillance activities and reporting
* Deliver health promotion initiatives
* Lead behavioural-based observations and offer support and technical guidance
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline is required, along with relevant registration or certification (e.g. APHRA, ESSA).
* Strong communication and critical thinking skills
* Intermediate skills in MS Office suite
* Working knowledge of Queensland workers' compensation process and RRTWC course completion
* Knowledge of QLD coal mining health and safety legislation
