Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been supporting the Broome community for over 40 years. Headquartered in Broome, Western Australia, BRAMS provides holistic, culturally safe primary healthcare, aged care, and community programs to Aboriginal people throughout the Kimberley region.

With a strong focus on person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care, BRAMS delivers services that are designed around the needs of Aboriginal individuals and families. A True Executive Officer Role – Beyond Traditional EA Support

As Executive Officer, you will operate as the strategic anchor of the CEO's office — bringing structure and momentum to governance, strategy and funding priorities across the organisation.

This is a senior coordination role that blends executive support with governance oversight, project monitoring and structured funding management.

Your focus will centre on five key areas:

Executive Office Leadership
* Structure and manage the CEO's office to ensure aligned priorities and disciplined follow-through
* Prepare high-quality briefings, Board papers and executive documentation
* Maintain visibility over executive actions and key organisational commitments
Board & Governance Coordination
* Lead secretariat support for the Board of Directors
* Maintain governance registers and support statutory reporting obligations
* Contribute to strengthening governance systems and accountability frameworks
Strategic Plan Delivery
* Support monitoring of strategic initiatives and executive deliverables
* Maintain structured tracking of milestones and emerging risks
* Provide reporting insights to support executive and Board oversight
Grant & Funding Governance
* Coordinate grant submissions and funding administration processes
* Maintain funding registers and reporting schedules
* Support transparent and well-managed compliance practices
Stakeholder & Executive Coordination
* Support executive engagement with government agencies and funding bodies
* Manage professional correspondence and stakeholder communications
* Build trusted working relationships across senior leadership environments

You Could Be the Perfect Match If...

You are a highly organised, strategically minded and detail-driven professional who thrives in senior leadership environments and values structure, accountability and purpose.

You are confident operating alongside executive leaders and Boards, and you bring the maturity, discretion and sound judgement required in high-trust governance settings.

To qualify, you will ideally have a relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, management, or a related field, along with significant experience in a senior executive, governance or strategic coordination role.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

* Demonstrated governance experience, including preparation of Board papers, maintaining registers and supporting compliance processes
* Experience monitoring strategic initiatives, projects or organisational priorities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of reports and executive documentation
* High-level professionalism, discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive matters
* Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
* Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and document management systems
* An understanding of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and a genuine commitment to cultural safety
